Flashback:
Captain: Your mission is to scout out into the depths of the cavern. Sources of demonic energy or time rifts are what you are going to be paying attention to.



Present:

They had fallen into a hole with no way to get out. Gaius took out a flashlight and shown it upon the depths. This is where they were:

Before anyone could speak. A loud rattle could be heard... and it was getting closer. A light could be seen... a train arrives......in perfectly good condition unlike the rest of the area.

Gaius leads them on, edging them that this is something they should be checking out. The train's doors shut before they can decide to leave.

There... a group of small demons spawn from the ceiling.

Derek, still sore from the fall, was skeptical about getting on the train. They needed to contact HQ, and get extracted. But as he was about to voice his complaints, Gaius and the others got aboard. When the Demons appeared, Derek didn't even bother giving an "I told you so." He just grabbed his rifle and opened fire.

As the demons fall from the ceiling, Matt, a young soldier with brown spiky hair and hand-me-down armor and gear, grabs his laser sword and shield. Attempting to avenge his father's death, he follows his teammate's lead, lunging at the first demon, bashing it with his shield and attempting to slash at it.

Gaius quickly took out a silver chain and whipped it at one of the demons, smiling at the chance to see some action.

Oh for the love of. Kai immediately fired at one of the demons with his dual SMGs.

2.) Selfishly take a soul gem?
3.) Continue fighting the demons?

Matt rushes through the crowd, noticing the soul gem drop and needing the extra strength, grabs the soul gem.

Derek, not giving the demons a chance to strike, ignores the clatter of the gem falling to the ground, and fires at the Demon Kai had just shot.

The train started to pick up speed, and the train began to tilt as if it was going down a declined track.
