Vriz backed up after that attack, feeling some after effects.

On his swoop around, Jay noticed MM arrive shortly before another devastating strike launched both Phen and Vriz back, causing them both to recoil back. After giving a quick salute to MM's arrival, Jay charged his lightning to attempt to fry the electronics within the machine.

The machine's light began to flicker off, and the voice began to speak again. "Primary systems failing. Diverting power from-" Suddenly, ti was hit by J's bolt of electricity.
"Power supplement received. Restoring power to secondary systems."
Lights flickering back on, it turned it's incendiary cannons to fire once again.

"Holy shit, I'm on fire!" Ty screamed, running around. Detecting his elevated pain levels, his gauntlet automatically dosed him up with more drugs, alleviating the pain. Snarling, he fired a few more rounds at the machine.

MM attempted to dodge the attack from the machine, but he somehow tripped over his bow instead of actually getting on it. He took the heat but his face got burned in the process. Luckily he was wearing his sharpshooter goggles. They were able to protect his eyes.

MM hopped onto his bow to get some distance from the machine and begin to be a moving target. He drew an arrow and fired at the machine.

Vriz felt like he was on fire. Fire...fire...

He could have sworn his blade was engulfed in flames for a second. Nevertheless, he switched back to gun mode and fired at possible weak spots he saw when he was close.

Finally taking a breather from being the mechs' main target, Phen found now as good a time as any to resume healing duty.

Noticing the machine using his lightning, Jay starts to get frustrated. The Metal Claw extends and covers his left arm shortly before he appears on the other side of the machine in the blink of an eye, with evidence that his claws have left a mark.

The machine's light began to flicker off, and the voice began to speak again. "Critical damage sustained. Diverting all non-essential system power to weapons." The machine, beaten and nearly destroyed suddenly seems very dangerous, as it's weapons hum with power.

The machine attacks everyone, has 25 base damage, and leaves a five turn Damage over Time effect of 5 damage.

MM noticed that the machine was in critical condition. He drew his bow and charged up 350HP into his arrow. Letting it loose, he landed the finishing blow to the machine.

Rumbling, the machine explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere. The entrance to the structure is now unguarded.

A flash of light. Arc is now among them.

She looks around at the destroyed machinery.

"So uh... looks like you're all done."

((Arc's hi-concept sci-fi adventure earned her 2 UPs as well.)
