{3} Welcome to the Beginning

As the four enter the castle, a familiar figure sits on the throne, slowly looking at his fingers. He looks out to the group, slightly amused to see new people in the castle. He stands up, walking towards them as his arms slowly transform into furry Half-Demon arms. Jay Valent walks towards the group, with somewhat of a different look to him. His face has a half smile. "To what to I owe the pleasure of strangers entering my domain?" He says. "I asked for no visitors."

Ty looks uneasily at their friend approaching.
"Aw, come on J. Don't you recognise your old pals?"

Arc sees the demonic arms on jay and her hands instinctively twitch at her weapons. "Jay, what's wrong?"

Phen just looked around while the others spoke to Jay. There seemed to be nobody else indeed, or, at least, so far.

He'd make a comment about how he barely remembered who Jay was, but he figured it would help nothing at that point.

MM just rose a couple eyebrows. I better start taking the tips off a few arrows. MM opened one of his quiver's and began switching out sharp tips for blunt ones. He kept a watchful eye on the situation while he worked at his task.

"OooooooohoooOOOoooohoo....we're so scared of you, Hereshko." Vriz entered.

Ty glances at the newcomer, at first thinking it was Roy, from the snarky attitude, but seeing an unfamiliar face.
"Who the fuck is this guy?"

Jay's attention immediately goes to the rude intruder. Jay coughs slightly, then laughs heartily. "Your sarcastic style will do nothing to benefit you, you realize. Only create for a funny outcome." Jay takes a few steps side to side before quickly lunging towards Vriz, a glint of excited light shining from his eyes.

Vriz's blade went spinning from his grasp, and the ground rose up to meet him. The taste of blood filled his mouth.

"Holy shit!" Ty shouted, seeing J go in for the attack. Assuming that meant he should attack, Ty charged his friend, sending a punch at his head.

MM, still unsure what was going on decided to continue switching out his arrow tips. He had one quiver finished. Now onto the second one.

"...That sure escalated." Sighing, Phen readied the bowgun. Now it wouldn't miss as much after the adjustments, and the power output could go for longer... or so he hoped.

"We'll have to beat whatever is wrong with him out the hard way, as usual..."

"Fuck!" she cussed as Jay charged, and as she was far in the back, she tried to keep her distance.

Once Phen attacked she saw a good opening as Jay stumbled. She flicked out her weapons, and uncoiled them as a whip. She aimed them at Jay and they wrapped around his arms, and she pulled and threw him down.

Jay was a little thrown off by the first assault of this group of adventurers. He shook out the feeling however, and decided to rush towards the first striker that hit him (Ty). He charged up, then launched at Ty, dropping his claw as he passed him.

Ty, seeing J's attack, does his best to backstep, but ends up getting clawed regardless. Growling, Ty starts tinkering with his gauntlet.

Vriz got up, took off his half mask, grabbed his blade, and charged at J. He delivered a diagonal slash and followed up with an uppercut motion on the next one. It was his signature V-Slash. And he managed to pull it off twice.
