[I] The Dark Truth

The group arrived back in the ethereal setting through the third portal. They're instantly greeted by the figments of hope.

(Other)Roy: "...So the third portal was like the B point of the second portal?"

"Heh, yeah basically...and damn, feels good to be outta that cold ass weather."

(Other)Roy: "So, I'm assuming you have all three orbs then?"

"Uh..yeah."

Roy takes the three orbs, from whoever had possession of them, and heads over to his counterpart.



While Roy is walking over, smirks appear on the faces of each figment. The orbs then glow brightly.

"...The hell."

The bright red, blue, and green lights emitted from the orbs increases intensely to the point where the group can't keep their eyes open.

They hear the voice of the counterpart Roy.
(Other)Roy: "Heh, you five were my best puppets."
The second he uttered those words, the glowing stops. The group opens their eyes and now stand in the same ethereal setting but significantly darker.

Roy no longer has the orbs in his possession and the figments are nowhere to be seen.

"Aw, damn it. I am so sick of being errand boys, just to fail anyways!" Typho yelled, going into his Beast Form?

"Did we just get fucking played into doing shit again?"

"You gotta be shittin me, man.."

???: "That's right, you fools were deceived."
The mysterious voice was deep, demonic, and echoed in the area.

???: "This is the bridge between the Demon World and Azgard. The portals you five were looking for from the beginning...lead to here. I got in your naive heads and created those figments to completely trick you into helping me cross into Azgard. That's right, I am the demon of demons...the Demon God, Valorinx."

The group couldn't believe what they were hearing.

???: "While you were tricked, a lot of truth was used in the deception. When you defeated X in the Ashen Temple, you unleashed doom on Azgard. The guardian guarded the main portal to this bridge and had my prized demon, Lucifein, sealed away. Heh-heh. What you didn't know is, X thought you all were just like Lucifein. The guardian thought you came to free him-and you did just that. The cards started to fall into place from then on."

???: "But are you really different from Lucifein? The only difference is...I didn't create you...but you became one of my demons nonetheless. Those...what do you humans call them...soul gems. As I said before, those are pieces of my power. You five did the unthinkable and tapped into it...but from that point on, you slowly became demons."

???: "As for those orbs. Firstly, Lucifein did not kill you. He transferred you here. To me. I then played the ultimate mind game on you five and at the end, set you out to acquire the three guardian orbs and bring it back here. Simply put, when those three orbs are in here...it allows me to finally cross into Azgard."

???: "You may be wondering, why I didn't set out one of my demons to do this task. I have. Unfortunately, when one of my demons came into contact with the orbs...they loosened from my control. I don't understand why this happens. Fact, the Guardian Orbs are the only things in Azgard that I don't completely understand. I knew I needed humans for this task though...and you five were the best for the job."

???: "Hahahaha...to believe two of you were part of the old Alliance that sealed me away...and now, five years later, you're part of the new Alliance that helped fuck up Azgard."
This voice was different, familiar, and came from behind the group. They turned around and saw Lucifein.

The ethereal setting starts to fade. The group finds themselves on the rooftops of Azgard's castle again, along with Lucifein.
They witness Azgard at its worse. The skies are dark and cloudy. Demons roam the fields, painted red, with bodies of fallen Azgardian soldiers and citizens. It was depressing.

Lucifein smirks at the group looking out at the doomed Azgard.

Lucifein: "Don't worry. Most of the credit goes out to you five. Hahahaha-heh."

Roy clenched his fists and looked over at Lucifein with a dead serious expression. Lucifein's smirk became a wide grin at the sight of him. Roy slowly unsheathed his blades.

Lucifein: "Hey...didn't you wield a huge blade back then."

Roy didn't answer.

Lucifein: "Speaking of back then, I think it's time to get my revenge. I'm grateful and all for what you've done...well it's just THAT actually. Your job's done."

Lucifein snaps his fingers. The soul gems and items of the group become disabled just like before. In the blink of an eye, Lucifein appears in front of Roy. His expression changes immediately. Roy caught Lucifein off-guard and stabbed him with his right blade.



The demonic aura started to surround Roy. The dark glowing tattoo markings were visible on his body yet again. Lucifein stared straight into his blackened soulless eyes with a state of shock.

Roy quickly pulled his blade out and kicked Lucifein in the wound. The others started to change into their corrupt forms as well. Lucifein backed away a bit and then, all of a sudden, an arrow was shot at his wound by MM. He dropped on his knees.

Lucifein: "Yo-you...you fucking humans..."

Lucifein pulled out the arrow and his eyes started to glow red. A demon materialized out of him-his true form. The human puppet of Lucifein got up, pulled out his blade, empowered with demonic power, and looked over at the group pissed off while his true form had a menacing smile.

Lucifein: "See what you two fuckers did to me five years ago? I can't even fully materialize into my true form...that won't stop your death though. Heh-heh-heh. Your fates have been sealed."

Roy, with godly speed, popped right in front of Lucifein's face. He clashed blades with the demon.

Lucifein: "Don't test me, HUMAN!"

The demon Lucifein emitting out of his human form attacked Roy while he was busy with the inferior.

Laughing evily, he tackles Human Lucefien, mauling him with his claws.

MM ran up to one of the castle towers. Then he used his demon form to climb up the tower, sniping mini demons along his way. Then he got up to the top and found a nice spot to start sniping.

He lit an arrow on fire and sent it loose towards Lucifen's wound again.

Arc's hands shake with bloodlust as she wields her twin sai. She then charges towards Lucifein, leaps into the air and sends the sai flying at him, aiming for his previous wounds.

Roy gnarled and threw himself at the demon. He went right through it and realized the demon wasn't attack-able. Not giving a shit in his current state, he charged at Lucifein from behind and stabbed the human puppet.

Phen hesitated, but slowly his demon form took over, magic emanating from him, purple glyphs and magic circles surrounding him, he merely raised his right arm at Lucifein's direction, and a shockwave of purple, hostile energy flew from him towards the demon lord.

While Lucifein was busy taking dealing with arrows and blades in his body, his demonic form took action.

As Roy was right behind Lucifein's human form, the demon got another shot easily. Roy barely felt anything and just made sure his blade stuck inside Lucifein.

He then ignited the blade.
