Part 5X: Edge Of Defeat

Poiuy and James looked over at the stagnant bodies laying in the shallow water.

Poiuy: "No demons are match for us."

James: "They couldn't even handle the Time Maze haha."

Poiuy: "Yeah...that maze SYMBOLIZED our rigorous training and yet-"

Poiuy noticed Araphen, Arc and Ty trying to get up.

Poiuy: "Urgh, these demons are troublesome."

Poiuy proceeded to stab all three to make sure they were dead and then a BANG was heard coming from the rocky walls.



A shower of rocks came crumbling down. Poiuy and James couldn't see what was happening there until it stopped. Finally, when the rocks ceased they saw Roy and MM standing beside each other with a demonic-like aura surrounding the two. Their shirts were ripped off and dark glowing tattoo markings were visible on their bodies. They opened their eyes and it was completely blackened, as if they were soulless. They turned their heads up and looked over at Poiuy and James with a huge wide grin appearing on their faces.

NOTE: Only Roy and MM are in this battle. They are fully replenished and their Soul Gems and Items are somehow RE-ENABLED.

Roy picked up his crimson blades, slowly turned his head to face Poi. The instant Poi blinked Roy was right in front of him

Poi got startled but Roy followed up with a quick X Strike before he could react, blasting him to the walls.

Roy sliced the arrow into pieces in just a mere second. He then reappeared right in front of James, kicked him up in the air, appeared up in the air behind him, and X-Striked him at MM's direction.

MM charged his bow with his HP (90) and swung it with one hand to send Jamer flying into the cave ceiling.

The figments of James and Poiuy shatter.
The demonic aura surrounding Roy and MM pulsate. The dark glowing tattoos on their bodies and the demonic aura slowly disappear as do their soulless eyes, returning back to normal. They try to process what happened but the Riverbed Ruins distorts and shatters.
